H&H Floor Sanding 2010 Rates:

-Install, Sand & Finish: $4.75/sf,

-Install Only: $2.75/sf,

There is a $100 set up fee.

                For the extra work close to the walls there is a charge of $100/room .

There is a $100 charge for each framed object.

(fireplace hearth, border, etc.)

For each exterior doorthere is a $75 charge.

-Sand & Finish: $2.40/sf, $400 minimum

Stain is $1/sf extra.

-Sand only or Sand and One Coat: $1.40/sf, $200 minimum       minimum

-Sand and Prep for Stain: $1.90/sf

-Sand and Stain: $2.40/sf (note: this doesn't include finish)

Add $.25/sf if countersinking nails.

                Add $.25/sf if floor is uneven.

                Add $.50/sf old gummy finish or paint.

                Add $.75/sf multiple coats of old gummy finish or paint

                Add $1.00/sf if it is glue that is around 1/16 inch thick

                Add $1.25/sf if it is glue around 1/8 inch thick.

Add $1.50/sf if paper glued to the   floor.

-Radiators: $20/foot.

-Thresholds: $10/foot.

-Re-Coat or Finnish only: $1.25/sf, $400 minimum

-Paint a Floor without sanding *:  $2.75/sf, 

-Stairs: $30/ tread, $30/riser.

Add $2.50 for each baluster to be done around.

Add $1.00/tread if countersinking nails.

Add $.25/tread if floor is uneven.

Add $.50/tread if it is old gummy finish or paint.

Add $.75/tread if really thick old gummy finish or paint.

Add $1.00/tread if it is glue

Add $1.25/tread if it is thick glue.

Add $1.50/tread if it is paper glued to the floor.

-Painting Stairs without sanding:*

$60/ tread, $60/riser. Add $5.00 for each baluster to be done around.

Discounts:

  -If a room is > 300sf, then subtract $.25/sf

  - room is > 1000sf, then subtract another $.25/sf

-Gymnasium game lines and murals are priced individually.

*Includes: cleaning floor, chemically etching old paint, two coats primer, sanding the primer, two coats commercial grade floor paint, two coats commercial grade clear floor finish. This price will cover a certain amount of prep work, which we will define in terms of man hours.  All man hours spent doing prep work specified by the customer beyond these allotted hours will be charged at $35/man hour.
